A Christmas Truce is the heart-warming story of how Christian German soldiers and Christian American soldiers escaped death in freezing temperature amidst starvation during the battle of the bulge. On Christmas Eve of 1944, a German Christian mother and her son gave refuge to several American soldiers, one of whom was shot by a German solider in the line of duty. Unexpectedly, German soldiers showed up at the same cabin minutes apart, seeking refuge. The mother made peace between both sides as they celebrated the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. One of the German soldiers saved the life of the wounded American.
